Donations
To date, over 1.5 million dollars have been raised, making the dream of the Glencoe City Center a reality. More than 460 pledges have been received from the community, but additional donations are being accepted to reduce the long-term debt on the facility. Cash, three-year pledges, securities, gifts-in-kind, property and paid-up life insurance policies are appropriate donations. All gifts to the Glencoe City Center are deductible as charitable contributions on itemized tax returns.
Donations to the Glencoe City Center will be acknowledged on a permanent donor wall in the facility when the amount is $1,500.00 or more. Commemorative gifts with naming rights may be possibile as an opportunity to provide a memorial, living tribute or other legacy-building activity. Making a pledge payable over three years is an effective and satisfying way to make a thoughtful, generous gift to the campaign. A three-year pledge enables you to budget your gift over the pledge period and to realize the favorable tax benefits over that time.
