The Glencoe City Center brings new and expanded space to many groups and offices, filling an important need in the community.
The Senior Center will be located on the first floor adjacent to the auditorium. This space will provide a handicapped-accessible exterior entrance, nearby parking areas, and 1,920 square feet of space. The Senior Center will include a kitchenette, restroom and overflow meeting space.
The Glencoe Public Library will be located on the second floor of the building, accessible by elevator. The size of the library will increase from 6,300 square feet in its current location, to 14,750 square feet at the City Center location. The increase will allow for more meeting, activity and study space as well as book collection expansion.
