WEEKEND VISITOR’S ITINERARY
Thursday
-Visit Bonnie Mohr Studios - You will be greeted by grazing holsteins and yellow labs, then you will be able to view original oil paintings of country life. Obtain more information at www.bonniemohr.com
- Experience Gert and Erma’s Coffee Shop, a unique dining and shopping attraction! Serving delicious soups and sandwiches and offering gift items, you will be glad you stopped to enjoy the great food, unique shopping, charming setting and friendly staff.
- If you are in town June through early October, drop by the Glencoe Farmer’s Market to purchase locally grown produce. The Farmer’s market is located on 11th St. between Louden Ave. and Ives Ave.
Friday
A day at Oak Leaf Park
-Start the day at the Glencoe Wildlife Refuge visiting swans, white tail deer, elk and pheasants on 32 acres.
-Enjoy the playground or have a picnic in the picnic shelter. Volleyball courts, horseshoe pit and a walking/biking trail into town are also nearby.
-Perfect for a family outing, visit the Glencoe Aquatic Center, one of the finest water parks in the area. With slides, a concession stand, and sand pit, the Aquatic Center is fun for all ages.
Saturday
-Enjoy a game of golf April to November at Glencoe’s Country Club, featuring 18 holes and bluegrass fairways.
