Welcome to the City of Glencoe’s Park Department section of the website! The department is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the park system in Glencoe.
The park system includes Oak Leaf Park, the flagship park in the municipal park system. Oak Leaf Park includes the Glencoe Aquatic Center, softball fields, a disc golf course, a large playground, fishing pond and wildlife refuge. For your family picnics, reunions and other event needs, the park has five shelters available to rent. The park is also home to Vollmer Field, home of the Glencoe Brewers and two-time site of the MN State Amateur Baseball Tournament.
The park system also includes Oscar Olson Park, which is home to the community education soccer program, playground, and a skateboard park. The park also has one shelter available to rent. The department also is responsible for Lincoln Park, Glen Knoll Park, Welcome Park, the Horseshoe Parks, Sterner BMX Park and the outdoor skating rink at the end of Greeley Ave. For more information, please download the following brochures.
