Volunteer Firefighter

Qualifications include, must be 18 years of age, possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license, live within a 5 minute response time of the Glencoe Fire Station, and compliance of the City of Glencoe hiring practices. Applications are available online or at City of Glencoe offices located at 1107 11th St E. Notification will then be sent to applicants for the time and date for the testing procedures that will include physical agility, written examination and oral interview. Event Center Staff/Bartender

The City of Glencoe is hiring for part-time bartenders/event center staff. Applications can be picked up at the City Offices located at 1107 11th St. E.

Job Description

Lifeguard

We are currently accepting applications for lifeguard positions for the 2026 season. Applicants must be 15 years of age by May 30th and will be required to complete American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.

Lifeguard training will be held on the following dates. Students must attend all three sessions.

Friday, May 22nd 4:00-8:00 PM

Saturday, May 23rd 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Sunday, May 24th 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Applications can be turned in to Glencoe City Offices or emailed to Aquatics Director Liz Griebel ([email protected]). Contact Liz for more information.
