Qualifications include, must be 18 years of age, possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license, live within a 5 minute response time of the Glencoe Fire Station, and compliance of the City of Glencoe hiring practices. Notification will then be sent to applicants for the time and date for the testing procedures that will include physical agility, written examination and oral interview. The City of Glencoe is hiring for part-time bartenders/event center staff. Applications can be picked up at the City Offices located at 1107 11th St. E.
We are currently accepting applications for lifeguard positions for the 2026 season. Applicants must be 15 years of age by May 30th and will be required to complete American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
Lifeguard training will be held on the following dates. Students must attend all three sessions.
Friday, May 22nd 4:00-8:00 PM
Saturday, May 23rd 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Sunday, May 24th 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
