REMINDER TO THE CITY OF GLENCOE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS…
Due to the lack of rain this summer, there really hasn’t been the need to mow lawns; the grass turns brown and crunchy and then it dies. Unfortunately, noxious weeds continue to grow, even without the rain.
This is a reminder, Chapter 5 of the City Code states: In any area the existence of any noxious or poisonous vegetation such as poison ivy, ragweed or other poisonous plants, or any weeds, grass, brush or plants, which are a fire hazard or otherwise detrimental to the health or appearance of the neighborhood. Failure to comply shall constitute a violation of this ordinance.
Please take care of your weeds to help keep Glencoe looking great!
