PUBLIC MEETING ON STORM WATER PROGRAM
The City of Glencoe will hold a public meeting on its Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP) at 7:05 p.m. Monday March 4, 2024, at the City Center Council Chambers, 1107 11th Street East, Glencoe. The public meeting will be held as part of the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting and will also be broadcast live on the local cable access channel 10, and Live Streamed at glencoemn.org.
The SWPPP is part of the City’s permit that was prepared to meet the requirements of a federally mandated storm water permit program that is administered by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). The overall goal of the program is to reduce the amount of sediment and pollution that enters surface waters.
The public meeting will include a presentation of the best management practices that make up the City’s SWPPP. Residents will be given an opportunity to provide written or oral comments on the City’s SWPPP. The City of Glencoe will consider all comments and may make reasonable adjustments to the SWPPP.
